This technique was developed after years of self-exploration that ultimately led to my own personal healing from a laundry list of concerns, pain and disease processes in my own body. The first time I felt any true recovery after years of depression and panic attacks was through yoga. As my personal practice developed I found that meditation helped me more than anything else to discover underlying belief systems that were affecting every dimension of my being.
As I become willing to face these learned ways of being that I had accumulated throughout my life, I began to experience more vitality and my pain along with my depression and anxiety disappeared and are no longer something I have to manage in my own life. I have my moments, as we all do, but these conditions no longer dictate my experience of daily life, I am no longer full of fear, I am more willing to take risks and have experienced exponential growth through this practice.
For years before my own transformation began I found that there was an important ingredient in the recipe of health that is too often overlooked in conventional medicine and is necessary for true healing to occur. This missing link is revealed in your “story” of Self and is reflected in your biology. Your awareness and your reaction to life experience literally change the expression of your genes.
Meditation Connection also known as Holistic Counseling is a discussion based session that will help to reveal the belief systems that are underlying your experience of health and of life by connecting what’s happening in the mind (your thoughts), what’s happening in your emotions (how you feel) to what’s happening in your body (your physical condition).
Many of us have taken the story of our lives and identify with it, and I mean fully identify with this story. Here you are invited to remember that you are not what happened to you, you are what you chose to become; most of us forget this somewhere along the way, especially when there is pain (whether it be physical or emotional pain). Meditation Connection empowers you to take charge of your health, to live in a more healthy relationship with yourself and truly love, and most importantly to choose your direction going forward.
